First, I wish to thank all of you for your f faith, love and commitment that was heavily tested over these past two years. Though the year of 2020 was very difficult due to the COVID 19, we persevered with grit and determination following the necessary sanitary restrictions in order to provide a safe place to pray and worship.

I’m happy that even in a time of pandemic our regular worship services are celebrated although with some restrictions that are necessary for our safety. Thank you for wearing your mask and maintaining social distancing. I am grateful to Kulinski Memorials for donating our new live stream TV system installed in Sacred Heart Church.

Holy Week this year is going to be very different from any we have known up to now, and we will all feel it. As we mark the great events that give us new life in Christ, we do so full of the concern, anxiety, fear and sadness caused by the viral pandemic. At the same time, we notice all around us much evidence of compassion and solidarity and self-sacrifice. May this time of testing somehow prove to be a time of grace for us all.

If during Lent there was an emphasis on what we can do or give up to draw closer to God, Easter has a different cast – it is about proclaiming that Christ is risen! The Easter Season is a call for each of us and the world to renew our hope in Christ the Redeemer. And so, we dare to hope and, even more, dare to share that hope with a wounded struggling world....

"Count your blessings!" How often people think of blessings only in terms of things such as winning the lottery, owning a nice home, having a secure job, etc., etc. In teaching the Beatitudes, Jesus reverses our normal expectations of what will make us happy (blessed) in this world. It is not what we have but who we are, how we live and how we relate to others. The Beatitudes call for a radical rethinking of our needs, wants and pleasures. Real happiness lies in the gift of blessedness that only God gives. Our parish has been blessed in many ways....

Someone has said that Advent is the season for recovering lost dreams. I like that. This year's Advent taught us to listen to God's voice and fill our hearts and minds with God's dream for ourselves, our families, our country and the world. That dream was announced by the angels at Jesus' birth: Peace on earth to all people of goodwill. During the last few weeks many dreams come true. With September here and gone we are back on track with our pastoral work after – I hope - a very rejuvenating summer for all. Many great things took place and I would like to highlight some of them.
First, our Religious Education Program and RCIA started with Catechetical Sunday and the Commission of Religious Ed Teachers on September 17 with 160 enrolled students. This year in response to parent's pleas we have reorganized our Religious Ed Program from two evenings to one, with one session on Tuesdays 5:30-6:45PM. ...

For some time to come, we will be involved in the tabulating of receipts and expenditures; but in the meantime we hasten to extend our deep respect, admiration and gratitude to the many men, women, and children whose sacrifices of time and energy made the 49th Annual Parish Summer Festival such a tremendous success. Without the effort of so many, we would not have been able to manage this undertaking. We are, most of all, grateful to Almighty God for the good week He blessed us with and to all our parishioners and friends who added to its success by their attendance. May God bless you a hundredfold! Thank you to all the wonderful volunteers who helped out at this year's festival ...

St. Paul reminds us that there are many gifts, but one Spirit, many parts, but one Body – each of us has a part to play in the Body of Christ that is the Church (1 Cor. 12). In that passage you will find references to the Pentecost, Holy Trinity, Corpus Christi celebrations that we celebrated in June this year. On June 4th along with the first Sunday of the month, we celebrated Pentecost, on which the Church was born in the power of the Holy Spirit. We received the Holy Spirit to joyfully live out the gifts and roles that God has entrusted to each of us to build up the Church on earth! ...

With our celebration of Easter, we proclaim "Christ is risen", and call each other and the world to renew our hope. We dare to hope, because the eternal Word of God dared to take our flesh and passed through death to new and glorious life. By doing so He opened the way for us to embrace eternal life. The New Year has begun and our Parish Community has been busy. The month of January was primarily dedicated to home blessings and meetings with the parishioners. In the meantime a few other successful events took place.
Our Christmas Concert was held on Sunday, January 8th. Mrs. Malgorzata Kellis, the international Polish American soprano who performs at many venues including at the prestigious Carnegie Hall in New York City, gave a wonderful performance. We will have her back in Manville on April 1st at the Sacred Heart Worship Site with a Lenten Program...

It has been our prayer that during this Advent Season, by the Advent Retreats and confessions each of you would find opportunities to reflect on your own faith and relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and His Church.
Christmas has a way of bringing to Church individuals and families who, for various reasons, have not been to Mass or the Sacraments for months or years...

With leaves turning from green to yellow, from yellow to red and from red to brown we are reminded of one of the most fundamental human experience – the passing of the time. For many of us the last few weeks were a very busy time. Some of us struggled with the beginning of the new school year, our job, the loss of their family or friend etc. In our parish, we welcomed Fr. Wojciech Kusek, who returned to Manville after Fr. Slavek Romanowski left for his new assignment in Copenhagen, Denmark...
